Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Industrial Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in merchandising planning, retail planning, or demand planning
  • Proven analytical skills and business acumen to solve complex issues collaboratively
  • Strong ability to influence and communicate effectively across teams
  • Advanced Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros); familiarity with Cognos BI tool and Tableau is desired
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work in a deadline-driven, fast-paced, and dynamic environment
  • Competence in understanding retail KPIs and using data analytics to identify commercial drivers
  • High proficiency in English
  • Ability to work across a matrixed and cross-functional environment, leading change and achieving business results through storytelling (written and verbal) to technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead multi-season Business Plans at the Sport Level to inform financial forecasts and end-to-end inventory forecasts
  • Drive the future by reviewing upcoming seasonal products and building a compelling purchase assortment for the channel, leveraging current results and trends while adding strategic items that fuel continued growth
  • Conduct analysis to determine optimized pricing structures, promotional levers, and inventory movements across channels
  • Identify over- and under-performing styles and develop strategies to optimize performance in the marketplace
  • Make recommendations to manage inventory health and capitalize on key consumer moments, including end-to-end inventory liquidation plans within Digital Channel
  • Communicate results and impacts with cross-functional and leadership teams
