Why This Role Matters

We are seeking a dynamic, high-profile Lead Analyst/Reporter with deep expertise in Health Care, including areas such as policy reform, delivery systems, innovation, life sciences, insurance, and the economic and regulatory forces shaping the industry. This individual will shape and deliver compelling insights to C-suite executives, health care leaders, and public policy influencers through roundtable discussions, written briefs, and comprehensive reports.

As a respected thought leader in the health care domain, the Lead Analyst/Reporter will guide high-level discourse and support strategic decision-making. • Media Engagement: Represent WP Intelligence as a public-facing expert at industry conferences and media appearances, articulating strategic implications of health care trends.
  • Briefings & Presentations: Attend major health policy and industry events. Provide synthesized insights to inform both subscriber clients and internal editorial stakeholders.
  • Product Strategy: Inform the development of WP Intelligence’s health care-related products and services, ensuring that offerings align with the evolving needs of health sector leaders.
  • Collaboration & Leadership: Collaborate with research teams, editors, and analysts to deliver first-rate content. Mentor junior staff and contribute to a high-performing analytical culture.

Requirements

  • Domain Expertise: 10+ years of journalism, research, or publishing experience with a health care focus—covering health policy, health economics, clinical innovation, or regulatory issues—with industry recognition and a strong portfolio.
  • Public Influence: Demonstrated experience as a visible thought leader with a background in media commentary, expert panels, or high-level briefings.
  • Analytical Acumen: Ability to interpret complex health data, regulatory changes, and market dynamics, and synthesize these into clear, forward-looking insights.
