Maya knowledge is required
Experience with motion capture and virtual camera technologies is a plus
Strong knowledge of camera composition, lenses, and cinematographic principles is essential
High attention to detail and good organization skills
Ability to solve problems within a production pipeline
Able to create layout solutions for multiple types of stories and actions
Minimum requirement of 2-3 years of relevant experience (or 2 year diploma or 1 year certificate)

Responsibilities

Translates storyboards, sketches, and verbal instructions into 3D sequences of shots
Determines camera composition, angles, and movement
Establishes set and background geometry
Creates basic blocking for all characters, props, and temp elements (lighting, crowds, effects)
Creates sequences of shots that convey the storyline
May create rough pre-visualization models, environments, and effects
Participates in dailies, rounds, and team reviews
Interacts with clients, production, supervisors, and team members
Provides innovative solutions and contributes ideas to elevate creative direction
Works efficiently as part of a team or independently
