Responsibilities

  • Manage territory across Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Wyoming, focusing on growth and retention of assets among RIAs with $500M+ AUM
  • Maintain 1:1 partnership with an internal sales executive for territory management, pipeline development, and day-to-day execution
  • Understand the philosophy, structure, and strategic priorities of RIA firms, acting as a trusted advisor to align Vanguard’s capabilities with client needs
  • Drive market share and net cash flow through custom strategies tailored to large firms (averaging ~150 clients per territory)
  • Deliver key messages via in-person meetings, virtual visits, phone calls, and participation in national/regional industry events
  • Position Vanguard’s offerings consultatively, with strong emphasis on fixed income solutions
  • Build strong relationships across entire RIA organizations, support event strategy, and expand fields of play
  • Identify, build, and develop new relationships in the independent advisor community, predominantly through in-person interactions
