Requirements

  • OSHA-10 or higher (preferred)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) (preferred)
  • 1+ years of field experience (preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with approval from fleet insurance carrier (preferred)
  • Basic knowledge in paver installation, irrigation, low voltage lighting, and planting techniques

Responsibilities

  • Assists Foreman and Assistant Foreman on all assigned projects
  • Follows Lifescape’s construction manual for installation methods
  • Accurately installs projects according to plans and on budget with guidance of Foreman
  • Understands and follows blueprints, grading plans, irrigation plans, planting plans, construction drawings, proposals, and budgets
  • Understands grades and levels using a laser or zip level correctly
  • Loads truck and trailer as needed to and from jobsite/shop
  • Performs special duties and projects assigned as needed
  • Follows maintenance procedures for all equipment
  • Checks fluid levels before operating equipment
  • Attends weekly safety trainings
  • Assists in ensuring crew is working safely and job sites are safe at all times; anticipates potential hazards
  • Notifies relevant stakeholders of any accidents or injuries and submits paperwork according to Company policy
  • Works with Foreman to meet project hours budget
  • Maintains 24-hour on call status during snow season
  • Properly operates snow removal equipment
  • Plows, shovels, and applies ice melt in designated areas
