Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years clinical laboratory experience either in an NHS Pathology laboratory or commercial environment
  • Deep understanding of laboratory workflows
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to engage with customers using a value-selling approach
  • Expertise in designing laboratory solutions, including recommending analyzers, processes, and assays
  • Knowledge of laboratory automation, chemistry, and immunoassay technologies
  • Up-to-date with Beckman Coulter Diagnostics' product offerings and industry trends
  • Ability to deliver presentations to customers one-to-one or in groups
  • Ability to articulate solution benefits aligned with customer needs

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical expertise, solutions, and consultation to prospective customers as part of the sales process
  • Engage with customers to understand their unique laboratory requirements and challenges
  • Build strong relationships to gather insights into customer needs and develop them into explicit demands
  • Design laboratory solutions based on customer insights, recommending specific analyzers, processes, assays, and 3rd party innovations as required
  • Deliver solution benefits in one-to-one and/or group presentations
  • Collaborate with customers to highlight the urgency in addressing their needs and differentiate Automation and Workflow IT Solutions using USPs and metrics
  • Collaborate closely with the UK and Ireland sales team to align solutions with the company's sales strategy
  • Provide sales professionals with product knowledge and support to promote and sell solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with latest developments in laboratory automation, chemistry, and immunoassay technologies
  • Train customers and the sales team in the proper use of laboratory solutions and provide ongoing support
