Responsibilities

  • Monitor and Maintain Network Health: Oversee the health and performance of IoT satellite network infrastructure components (UE devices, firewalls, gateways, and cloud platforms)
  • Alarm Monitoring and Ticket Resolution: Monitor alarms and promptly resolve associated tickets
  • Primary NOC Contact: Serve as the primary point of contact for the Skylo Network Operations Center, identifying issues, correlating them, and initiating troubleshooting procedures
  • Impact Assessment and Coordination: Assess the potential impact of issues and coordinate with relevant teams to facilitate swift resolutions
  • Collaboration with Engineering Teams: Work closely with Skylo's engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure efficient resolutions
  • Network Performance Evaluation: Evaluate network performance and develop improvement strategies
  • Monitor Network Performance and Uptime: Monitor network performance and uptime and respond quickly to network incidents
  • Tier 2 Technical Assistance: Provide Tier 2 technical assistance to both internal and external clients, escalating concerns when necessary
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation
