Requirements

Solid hands-on experience with Kubernetes (preferably upstream or RKE2)

Responsibilities

Assist with deployment and configuration of Kubernetes clusters (upstream, RKE2) in connected and air-gapped environments
Support operations of the Rancher Gov stack for multi-cluster management
Contribute to GitOps pipelines using Fleet and ArgoCD to enable automation and consistency
Help package and distribute workloads using OCI bundles and Helm charts
Implement security best practices in collaboration with senior engineers (e.g., network segmentation, access control)
Participate in cluster upgrades, patching, and monitoring for stability and performance
Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate complex problems to senior engineers when needed
Document processes, playbooks, and configuration details for repeatability
