Requirements

  • Deep understanding of oncology, particularly breast oncology, ideally with 7–10+ years and an advanced degree
  • Marketing experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time
  • Proven experience in KOL engagement, advocacy, or professional society collaboration in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Expertise in planning and executing educational and promotional programs

Responsibilities

  • Establish connections with leading oncology and nuclear medicine KOLs to inform commercial and marketing strategy
  • Identify KOLs who can provide expert opinions for legitimate business needs (e.g., educational and advocacy initiatives)
  • Design and implement strategies to support the adoption of oncology imaging technologies for appropriate patients
  • Develop and manage relationships with professional societies and patient advocacy organizations
  • Represent the company at key industry events, forums, and working groups
  • Collaborate on society-developed educational and advocacy initiatives while maintaining their independence
  • Design and implement patient-focused awareness strategies aligned with product strategy
  • Create and execute educational programs tailored to imaging professionals and oncologists
  • Organize speaker programs, ad boards, and training sessions
  • Ensure alignment of educational materials with clinical needs and regulatory requirements
  • Develop awareness materials and programs to increase awareness of diseases, treatment, and technological advancements
  • Partner with internal cross-functional teams to create consistent and impactful messaging and communications
  • Collaborate with advocacy and industry groups to design and execute awareness campaigns
  • Develop strategies to enhance industry standards and guidelines related to molecular imaging for oncology
  • Provide support for regulatory agency interactions and communications as needed
  • Lead initiatives to position the company as a thought leader in oncology molecular imaging
  • Partner with marketing, sales, clinical, and R&D teams to ensure alignment on messaging and strategy
  • Work with global teams to leverage resources and insights for regional strategy execution
  • Follow review and approval processes for fee-for-service arrangements with healthcare professionals, institutions, patient advocacy organizations, or patients
  • Ensure external communications/materials are approved through appropriate processes (e.g., advertising and promotional review/medical review)
