Requirements

Knowledge of clinical protocols for dialysis patient care
Ability to perform cannulation, connect/disconnect machines to patients, and continuously monitor patients
Skills in patient assessment (history, dry weight), complication management, medication, diet advice, and providing moral support
Understanding of RO maintenance, water quality standards (AAMI), testing (TDS, hardness), machine disinfection, and maintenance (HD machines, Renatron, regeneration, backwash)
Capability to ensure center hygiene and tidiness standards
Experience or ability in training and mentoring junior technical staff
Strong documentation skills (HD sheets, RO logbook, reuse logbook, daily reports, revenue reports, medical records)
Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building with patients, staff, and stakeholders
Ability to handle grievances, escalations, and issue resolution timely

Responsibilities

Administer center operations, including staff management, attendance, duty roster, leave management, and grievance redressal
Manage stock/inventory: timely indents, daily stock register maintenance, safety stock, bi-weekly physical audits, and sending delivery challans
Ensure RO maintenance and water quality per AAMI standards
Handle documentation: daily reporting, revenue reports, medical records, scheduling patient treatments, inventory HO reporting
Oversee machine maintenance (HD, Renatron), regeneration, backwash, and testing
Ensure complete patient care by enforcing clinical protocols among dialysis technicians
Maintain center hygiene through housekeeping oversight
Train and mentor junior technical staff
Escalate issues/events requiring management attention and discuss clinical issues with quality team and nephrologists
Provide outstanding customer service, resolve patient treatment issues, and maintain positive stakeholder relationships
Account for smooth functioning of the dialysis unit, patient retention, and clinical quality
