Requirements

Candidates must have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, VPC, and IAM. A working proficiency in Terraform and production experience with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) are required, along with experience in creating and managing Helm charts. Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI is necessary, as is expert-level Git workflow management and strong Linux/Unix command-line proficiency. Solid scripting experience in Python and Bash is essential, with a basic understanding of Java or PHP being preferred. Familiarity with monitoring tools like DataDog, CloudWatch, or Azure Monitor is a plus.

Responsibilities

The Junior DevOps Engineer will deploy and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform and manage containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, utilizing Helm for deployment. They will implement various deployment strategies, develop automation scripts in Python and Bash, and research AI-driven tools for operational efficiency. Responsibilities also include optimizing CI/CD pipelines, configuring and managing monitoring solutions, and performing log analysis to identify and resolve performance issues. Additionally, the role involves applying OWASP Top 10 principles, implementing SAST and DAST tools, configuring WAF rules and network security controls, and executing the vulnerability management lifecycle.
