Requirements

  • B.S. in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, IT, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in production control within a manufacturing environment (high-mix/low-volume or high-volume/low-mix)
  • Hands-on experience in production control supporting materials management, production line balancing, and capacity planning
  • Demonstrated ability to support cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with teams across Operations, Supply Chain, and IT
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain clear documentation, including specifications and procedures
  • Strong coordination, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and meet tight deadlines through effective prioritization
  • English proficiency (written and verbal)
  • Advanced Excel skills (desired)
  • Strong analytical, communication (verbal and written), and presentation abilities (desired)

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes demand vs. capacity to identify and report potential gaps affecting production output
  • Utilizes multiple systems to collect and analyze data, including QAD (ERP system) for production planning, work orders, inventory, and material flow, and Tulip (MES platform) for real-time production tracking, operator inputs, and process visibility
  • Performs Work Order (WO) variation analysis to understand discrepancies and drive corrective actions
  • Works directly with production floor teams, providing guidance and support to help achieve production goals
  • Prepares and reports weekly production attainment, highlighting key drivers of performance and areas for improvement
  • Supports and participates in continuous improvement initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, reducing waste, and standardizing processes
  • Provides accurate reporting to management regarding production plan attainment
  • Applies Materials Management and APICS principles to evaluate material flow, monitor inventory levels, and ensure alignment between production schedules and operational capacity
  • Supports additional operational and analytical activities as needed
