Requirements

Master’s degree or above in related academic area (exceptionally qualified undergraduate candidates may also be considered)
Passionate about big data processing and related technologies, with the initiative to follow the latest technological advancements
Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, programming, and data structures
Familiar with big data components such as Flink, Spark, Kafka, Redis, HDFS, Storm, etc
Familiar with the Hadoop ecosystem, including Hive, MapReduce, etc
Preferred: Eligibility to work in the UK full time
Preferred: Chinese Mandarin language skills (not essential)

Responsibilities

Responsible for the architecture design and modeling of the company's data warehouse
Organize data warehouse development
Perform data mining based on the data warehouse to discover patterns in data, or apply and build mathematical algorithms to uncover data insights
Conduct in-depth data mining leveraging massive data resources to empower rapid business growth and maximize data value
Understand business requirements
Establish reliable data collection, distribution, and processing platforms
Participate in the design and development of offline/real-time data warehouses and pipelines
