Requirements

7+ years of experience in Java development (Fintech industry experience is a plus)
Experience with Java 21, Spring, Hibernate
Experience in clean REST API design
Knowledge of SQL, MySQL
Experience with Kafka and SOUP
Hands-on experience as a Technical Leader is a plus
Very good level of English
Nice to have: Experience with Spring Boot migration
Nice to have: Hands-on experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design) or hexagonal architecture
Nice to have: Experience in decoupling monolithic applications

Responsibilities

Preparing ideas for refactoring
Taking care of high-level design
Acting as a senior developer within the team, with leadership experience
Supporting business stakeholders and product owners on technical aspects of requests and delivery
Explaining technical concepts in simple terms to product owners and business stakeholders
Embedding innovation into daily routines
Verifying that approaches are aligned with architecture and approved (new components/processes)
Participating in daily work with developers
Having deep knowledge of business processes and requirements
Working closely with the Java Competence Lead and other Tech Leads to improve and optimize processes
Promoting operational excellence
Performing some administrative tasks with team members
Conducting technical interviews
