Requirements

  • Holder of a Baccalauréat in Informatique or equivalent relevant experience in a similar role
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proficiency in French and English (written and oral)
  • Knowledge of WINDOWS and LINUX operating systems, HARDWARE (various cards, printers), and networking (IP, mask, subnet, switches, cabling)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook) and ability to work on XLS files
  • Client- and results-oriented with effective communication skills to resolve issues and satisfy internal clients
  • Flexible, able to work shifts (day/night/weekends)
  • Solution-oriented attitude and ability to work in a team

Responsibilities

  • Install/reinstall computers, printers, and IT hardware, and intervene in case of problems
  • Troubleshoot terminals (check configuration, identify issues, and repair/resolve)
  • Track IT hardware, maintain updated list of peripherals, check warranties, and manage existing IT stocks
  • Repair hardware and perform IT cabling (network and power) to optimize workspace
  • Follow existing procedures during interventions and contribute to their improvement
  • Occasionally install IT hardware in new Skechers stores in Europe (average 2-3 trips of 3 days/year)
  • Ensure proper functioning of IT infrastructure and serve as the contact person for employees' IT issues
