Software Engineer - Trading Infrastructure

Position Overview

sFOX is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Trading Infrastructure team. You will be instrumental in developing scalable infrastructure that processes millions of orders daily, providing cutting-edge services to high-end financial customers. We are looking for individuals with hands-on experience in designing and implementing trading systems within traditional finance or the crypto trading industry, utilizing technologies such as Golang, C#, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop features to enhance the speed and functionality of our trading infrastructure, including new trading algorithms, exchange integrations, performance improvements, and new platform features.
• Actively contribute to influencing system architecture and roadmap in collaboration with the CTO office.
• Partner with the Product Management team to strategize for new features, optimize service performance, and write comprehensive tests.
• Develop deep expertise in understanding our entire trading systems and all associated services.
• Utilize deductive reasoning to solve complex problems that may extend beyond your immediate environment.

Requirements

• Proven expertise in designing and implementing trading systems, either in traditional finance or the cryptocurrency ecosystem.
• Deep knowledge of order types, routing, exchange management, and systems performance.
• Experience building high-performance, low-latency distributed trading systems.
• 5-7 years of hands-on software engineering experience. Golang expertise is desirable, but equivalent experience with C# or Java is applicable.
• A self-starter capable of managing projects from conception through to customer delivery and beyond.
• Pride in code quality and test infrastructure, prioritizing execution speed, security, and the end-user experience over "cool tech."

Nice to Have

• A passion for cryptocurrency and blockchain technologies.
• Experience with data manipulation, specifically SQL and Snowflake.
