Requirements

  • Enrolled in a university-level program with a focus in Computer and Information Science, Data Science/Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent program
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Enthusiastic and pleasant attitude
  • Strong desire to learn
  • Upholds best practice standards as well as departmental policies and procedures
  • Excellent listening skills, verbal and written communication

Responsibilities

  • Work with business areas to identify gaps and opportunities to ensure all policies are accounted for and the business is in compliance with IT PMO guidelines
  • Provide critical data support to a technical team
  • Perform research and analysis functions, including budget tracking and financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring
  • Perform any data analysis relevant to project tasks
  • Provide support to the project management office by contributing to the completion of project objectives and the coordination of project scheduling
  • Organize the necessary team members to facilitate reporting and analysis of projects under the supervision of a project manager
  • Provide support to management to draft and document policies, work instructions and enhancements for stronger employee engagement
  • Approach updates and tasks in a tactical and strategic manner, applying a logical thought process with attention to detail
  • Provide weekly status updates for management and stakeholder review and feedback
