Requirements

  • Strong background in BAU production support for fast-paced, large enterprise companies
  • Ability to problem-solve, troubleshoot, and handle incidents in a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent full stack back-end experience in Java 17
  • Some experience in RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Familiar with Apache Maven, Python, and Relational databases (Oracle)
  • Proficient understanding of APIs best practices and modular object-oriented design and development
  • Experience in Agile processes and CI/CD pipelines
  • Able to work alone or in a team contributing to collective targets
  • Support an On Call rota 24x7
  • (Preferred) Experience in IT system design and solutioning
  • (Preferred) Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • (Preferred) Ambition and ability to progress into SME and leadership role
  • (Preferred) Experience in design and developing enterprise-level complex applications
  • (Preferred) Some experience in OAuth 2.0, including grant types like authorization code, client credentials, JWT bearer, and token exchange flows

Responsibilities

  • Managing workload to deliver specific objectives with a flexible, ‘can do’ attitude and solid sense of initiative
  • Developing and delivering high quality code, individually or as a team player, with a holistic view of all project deliverables
  • Engaging in code reviews and actively contributing to enforce common best practices and code quality controls
