Requirements

Candidates should have a customer service orientation, attention to detail, and a drive for execution. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar IT role is required, with 1-2 years in a leadership or managerial capacity. Experience scaling and managing an IT team at a fast-growing startup, building foundational IT systems and processes for scaling companies, and supporting IT operations in a remote environment are essential. Familiarity with Okta SAML and SCIM (ideally Okta Workflows), MDM solutions like Kandji, Apple Mac best practices, and Google Workspace is necessary. The ideal candidate has strong technical depth as an individual contributor, experience in fast-scaling environments, and a desire to lay the foundation for a future IT team, having previously built out an IT function at a startup.

Responsibilities

The IT Manager will be the primary contact for all IT-related matters and will continue the IT buildout. This role involves both user-facing support and backend systems work. Responsibilities include reassessing IT processes and tools to accommodate company growth, setting a high bar for work quality, being responsive to issues, and considering long-term effects when addressing problems. The manager will also be responsible for scheduling and managing IT tasks and projects independently.
