Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support roles, with at least 3 years in a lead capacity
  • Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and ITSM tools
  • Proven ability to manage and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willing to work in varied shifts, including 01:00 Noon - 10:00 PM IST
  • Work a 5-day-a-week schedule in the office in Bangalore PSN Office, KA-India
  • Preferred: Experience in Manufacturing or Supply Chain domains
  • Preferred: Working knowledge of Java and related technologies
  • Preferred: Familiarity with incident management, problem management, and change management processes
  • Preferred: Ability to analyze and interpret technical data to support decision-making
  • Preferred: Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Preferred: Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services

Responsibilities

  • Provide L1 and L2 support for IT systems and applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests
  • Lead and coordinate support activities, ensuring adherence to ITIL processes and best practices
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential issues to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, incident reports, and resolution steps
  • Ensure compliance with ITSM standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Train and mentor junior support staff, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues
  • Support change management processes and ensure smooth deployment of updates and enhancements
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on issue resolution and system status
