Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, and a minimum of five years of experience in IT management and cybersecurity. Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and software systems is required, along with hands-on experience with system administration, security tools, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection/prevention systems. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, or CCNA are preferred, and U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
The IT & Security Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of Govini’s internal IT infrastructure, including network performance, system configurations, security, and compliance operations. Key responsibilities include managing IT operations and support, ensuring the protection of sensitive data through access controls and security best practices, monitoring and responding to security incidents, communicating IT updates to staff, providing technical support, leading CMMC compliance efforts, coordinating audits, and working with cross-functional departments to establish scalable processes for IT procurement and provisioning.
