Requirements

One to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrate consistency, accountability, reliability, and solid work ethic
Working knowledge of oil and gas equipment
Experience with FC style and FLS style gate valves
Ability to operate hand tools such as hammers, screw drivers, hydraulic torque wrenches and additional specialty tools – including micrometers
Must be at least 21 years of age
Have a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations within the last 12 months; no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years)
Ability to frequently stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear
Ability to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Ability to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required

Responsibilities

Process incoming gate valve start to finish
Accept equipment from delivery, recommission equipment, load equipment for delivery, complete all associate paperwork, perform quality check, and manage inventory (without supervision)
Understand customer requirements throughout the entire refurbishment of pressure control product to produce high quality product
Perform final inspection
Mentor and train fellow technicians in the refurbishment process
Demonstrate leadership skills
Exhibit and always advocate exemplary safety culture
Perform additional duties as assigned
Provide assembly and testing of various mechanical components of valves
