Responsibilities

  • Ensure operating procedures are deployed, understood, and complied with
  • Provide support, identify and correct errors, take preventative steps
  • Ensure functional teams understand business processes and maintain cohesive relationships across teams including beyond RDIL
  • Review and optimize standardized working practices for "best in class" performance
  • Carry out duties in compliance with business policies and procedures
  • Manage RDIL’s inventory holding and associated movements
  • Minimize inventory excess, expiry, and obsolescence
  • Provide functional support and guidance as required
  • Reconcile 3PL data to SAP (including SharePoint and Idocs)
  • Ensure regional compliance to agreed inventory business processes
  • Support and coordinate cycle counting and annual stock takes
  • Manage agreed Supply Chain projects and targets
  • Work across functional teams directing and coordinating inventory-related activities
  • Participate in and execute inventory analyses
  • Engage with 3PL and Abbott teams to support inventory accuracy
  • Establish and maintain professional, collaborative relationships
  • Monitor and report performance/trending levels, meet/exceed targets
  • Utilize knowledge to improve inventory effectiveness/efficiency via standardization
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on customer, product, and process requirements
  • Meet expectations of internal/external customers
  • Coordinate activities for cooperation among participants
  • Approve new product introductions from inventory perspective
  • Train and educate on SAP ERP and inventory processes
  • Record successful milestones aligned to goals and projects
  • Handle inventory analytics and reporting to minimize negative impacts
  • Provide early warning on stock at risk
  • Understand stock status (e.g., quality inspection blocked, returns)
  • Analyze regional data to identify slow-moving items, expiry issues, and coordinate remedial actions to minimize write-offs
  • Prepare and circulate weekly/monthly reports on inventory balances, scrap, obsolescence, expiry management, and stock statuses
  • Utilize business metrics to demonstrate implementation of inventory control policies
  • Manage inventory holding, value, and quantities
  • Ensure appropriate replenishment approach (coverage profile, safety stock, purchase orders)
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned
