Requirements

  • Advanced degree in chemistry, physics, process engineering, electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Ideally, some initial experience in the chemical-technical or physical-technical field or similar
  • Confident in using ANSYS Fluent and MS-Office (especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide valuable insights
  • Very good command of English (German is an advantage)
  • Initiative, commitment, and organizational skills
  • Knowledge or interest in the Automotive Industry is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Perform structural and dynamic simulations using LS-DYNA for automotive and battery applications, including vibration and dynamic load scenarios
  • Conduct electro-thermal modeling in ANSYS Workbench and APDL
  • Develop and optimize thermal management systems for Li-ion batteries
  • Utilize Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) with ANSYS Fluent for flow and heat transfer analysis in battery manufacturing processes
  • Apply multi-physics simulation techniques to analyze grid corrosion, thermal behavior, and structural integrity in battery systems
