Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and drive Vonage's global internal communications strategy in collaboration with the Head of Corporate Communications
  • Ensure employee engagement and alignment with Vonage’s business goals through effective communications programs
  • Design and execute a cohesive internal communications strategy that links employees to Vonage’s mission, reinforces culture, and keeps a distributed, global workforce connected and engaged
  • Determine the appropriate medium for intended audiences and messages, and build/maintain a communications calendar integrated with the larger marketing calendar
  • Work with Marketing Science function to define KPIs and measurement of success
  • Manage the appropriate mix of internal communications programs, channels, and vehicles to drive awareness and understanding of Vonage's lines of business
  • Reinforce Vonage’s culture through compelling storytelling that highlights employee impact, customer success, and company milestones
  • Write, edit, and finalize all aspects of employee communications, including content for corporate intranet, all-employee emails, C-level presentations, internal video scripts, executive talking points, and other materials
  • Review employee/audience feedback to determine effectiveness of communications, recommend and drive changes to improve delivery and understanding
  • Lead programming for corporate All Hands meetings and major announcements for the Leadership Team
  • Counsel and enable leaders and peers across key functions to use internal communications channels effectively for employee engagement
  • Work with peers to identify and prioritize communication opportunities and deliver consistent, relevant messages
  • Plan and ensure appropriate company/management participation in internal events
  • Engage with business, product, and functional leaders to understand new initiatives, products, business direction, and associated communications requirements; develop and execute internal communication plans for cross-functional programs
  • Serve as a trusted partner for change initiatives, ensuring clear, transparent, and effective communication across the organization
  • Manage and enhance editorial process for the Corporate intranet and internal blog, including developing/managing editorial calendar and content, identifying/writing stories, building network of communicators, analyzing data/metrics, and ensuring message consistency
