Senior IT Systems Engineer

Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, and have at least 3 years of experience in a technical support or engineering role, with a preference for experience supporting Linux environments. Familiarity with command-line tools, scripting languages, and system administration concepts is desired. Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems is beneficial.
The Intermediate Support Engineer will collaborate with US Federal organizations and government agencies to provide technical support, maintain, and resolve issues within their GitLab environments, utilizing Zendesk tickets, merge requests, email, and video conferencing. They will also work with Product, Development, Infrastructure, Customer Success, and Sales teams to build new features and fix bugs, contribute to documentation, participate in on-call rotations, and engage in hiring processes by reviewing applications.
