Requirements

7+ years' experience in Interior Architecture & Design
Preferred Bachelor’s Degree or Technical College Degree/Certificate in an accredited Interior Architectural related program
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to create complete presentation packages
Experience in Deltek Vision, Newforma, and MS Office preferred
Experience in AutoCAD/Architectural Desktop, Adobe Suite, and Sketchup
Proficiency in Revit
Advanced knowledge of building regulations and safety codes

Responsibilities

Prepares and conducts client presentations while meeting project goals
Develops and maintains ongoing relationships with clients
Follows projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality and intent
Conducts programming efforts to facilitate space planning, layout and utilization of furnishings and equipment
Responsible for selection and specification of FFE, all finish materials and artwork; understands material requirements and preliminary costs
Supports the Construction Administration phase responding to RFIs, COs, and reviews shop drawings
Keeps the project team on schedule and on budget while providing a cohesive design
Coordinates with Project Managers
Mentors and directs the work of less experienced staff in correctly documenting design
Communicates with clients, consultants, contractors, industry partners, and Ware Malcomb team members
Implements and uses the best practices of Ware Malcomb for all projects and processes
Contributes in office activities and is involved in design community organizations
