Requirements

  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Calibration skills: ability to perform calibration on instruments with accuracy and precision in accordance with established procedures, aware of environmental factors
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience: familiarity with software for equipment data management, preventative maintenance, work orders, scheduling, inventory control, and asset tracking
  • Electrical Equipment & Electrical Distribution Network knowledge and practical experience with electrical components and electric transmission/distribution networks
  • Industrial Control Systems knowledge and practical experience with SCADA, DCS, PLCs
  • Industrial Instrumentation Fundamentals practical knowledge of instrumentation for measuring/monitoring/controlling temperature, level, pressure, flow (e.g., sensors, gauges, transmitters, controllers)
  • Safety skills: ability to recognize and manage safety risks in complex situations
  • Safety Awareness: ability to identify hazards, evaluate environmental changes, use PPE, follow procedures, apply lockout/tagout, stop unsafe work
  • Wireless Technologies knowledge and practical experience with industrial applications

Responsibilities

  • Provide Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) support for assigned assets such as natural gas processing plants, pipelines, compressor stations
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and calibrate midstream instrumentation including flow meters, transmitters, sensors, analyzers, data loggers, PLCs, DCS
  • Install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical equipment including motor control centers, generators, transformers, switches, relays, wiring, electrical signal and communication systems, VFDs, PDCs, UPS
  • Configure and program industrial control systems
  • Perform loop checks, point-to-point verification, and other testing regimes
  • Maintain complete, accurate, and regulatory-compliant documentation
  • Perform installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, repairs, and system development for motor controls, distributive controls, PLCs, communications systems (satellite, cellular, RF), SCADA, and other technical issues
