Requirements

Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of direct experience engaging with Hedge Fund and Asset Manager clients in the financial services industry. A proven track record of achieving sales KPIs and successfully expanding client bases is essential. Existing client relationships within the target sector and the cryptocurrency industry are highly desirable, but not required. Experience managing electronic trading relationships is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Institutional Sales Manager will identify and onboard new prospect clients, guiding them through initial trading phases. They will provide best-in-class coverage and support to institutional and VIP clients, fostering relationships to drive trading volumes and loyalty. Responsibilities include promoting platform tools and strategies, serving as the primary point of contact for institutional customers, and gathering client feedback. The role involves collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to address client issues and propose improvements, maintaining a deep understanding of the BitMEX platform, and articulating the company's value proposition. Additionally, the manager will suggest process enhancements, stay informed about industry developments, and represent BitMEX at industry conferences.
