Requirements
3 or more years of experience in mechanical and electrical installation/repair work
Technical experience with tractor-trailers and associated telematics and tires
Strong technical background and experience in planning and scheduling
Technical diploma in commercial vehicle mechanics/electronics is advantageous
Self-motivated, persistent, and a team player
Strong entrepreneurial and communication skills
Ability to plan with various parties and execute the plan
Basic IT knowledge
Fluent in the language of the selected area plus English
Willingness to travel (up to 3–4 days per week, with occasional Saturday deployments)
Required certifications for installing electronic braking systems (EBS) such as Wabco, Knorr, and/or Haldex
Responsibilities
Achieve TaaS hardware installation targets according to the predefined plan (installation cycle) in a specific geographic area for the assigned customer base
Coordinate installation plans with fleet managers and workshops, involving special resources (ADR-certified electricians) if needed
Prepare hardware for installation (settings, necessary tools, etc.)
Coordinate hardware troubleshooting measures with the Customer Service Delivery Team and perform maintenance activities in the field
Submit and report hardware performance claims to hardware suppliers
Contribute to the development of installation training materials for service providers (Truck Force Network) or other third-party installers
Conduct installation trainings
Perform quality and quantity control upon receipt of hardware equipment
Ensure proper storage of hardware equipment
Perform scanning and registration of all hardware parts
Train service providers on sensor and telematics system installations and supervise their work when installations are outsourced
Guarantee error-free performance and maintenance of hardware during the service period and perform necessary troubleshooting measures
Follow the installation manual and standards for absolute quality in all installations
