Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • ASE certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Support Professional customers with use of Weblink, WorldPac, and other electronic part catalogs, including assisting associates in understanding e-catalog lookup and ordering systems, providing Weblink specification sheets, and accessing online sources for late model cars
  • Manage inventory of stocked parts, including identifying products to stock, assisting Parts Manager/Supply Lead with daily stock orders and removing aged product, and helping receive and put away stock orders
  • Source and order requested parts for Professional customers' mechanical repair processes, including monitoring delivery times on Aftermarket and Fast Moving Parts, sourcing OE product, and assisting in sourcing recycled or hard-to-find parts
  • Follow up on ordered product ETAs, provide communication to Store General Manager regarding service and/or inventory issues, and track RTVs, cores, and warranties for prompt resolution
  • Attend Professional customer Production meetings as requested
  • Reduce OE spend by working with customer Parts or Supply Associates to identify OE dealer purchases available through intercompany channels, coordinating product information and awareness training, and assisting in reviewing wholesale cars for parts
  • Identify cars in parts hold and find solutions, review pending list of cars for reconditioning to verify basic market basket product availability
  • Manage hardware program, including identifying products to stock, checking stock levels, preparing suggested stock orders twice a week or more, and helping receive and put away hardware orders
  • Provide feedback regarding issues, concerns, and opportunities to Professional customer management team
  • Anticipate Professional customer needs and offer potential solutions
  • No supervisory responsibilities
