Requirements

2-5 years previous injection molding process experience (PVC specifically)
Prior experience as an injection molding process tech
Prior experience in a leadership role
Excellent attendance
Positive attitude
Excellent communication skills

Basic mathematics skills
Safe working practices
Computer skills
Ability to occasionally lift moderate weights up to 50 lbs
Crane, Forklift, and Pallet Jack experience
High School diploma preferred (college degree beneficial but not necessary)
Knowledge of molding machine systems and overall production process

Responsibilities

Oversee 1st or 2nd shift operations and production processes for injection molding machines
Drive efficiency and ensure product quality
Optimize personnel and facilities through setting priorities, assigning people, meeting schedule requirements, maintenance planning, and scheduling machine/mold capacity
Direct, instruct, train, monitor, evaluate, and correct employee performance and behavior
Implement methods to reduce premium time waste
Assure compliance with departmental and corporate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
Ensure all daily process checks are completed accurately
Comply with environmental health and safety systems
Work well with others utilizing organizational skills
