Requirements

  • 2-5 years previous injection molding process experience (PVC specifically)
  • Prior experience as an injection molding process tech
  • Prior experience in a leadership role
  • Excellent attendance

  • Ability to occasionally lift moderate weights up to 50 lbs

  • Knowledge of molding machine systems and overall production process

Responsibilities

  • Oversee 1st or 2nd shift operations and production processes for injection molding machines
  • Drive efficiency and ensure product quality
  • Optimize personnel and facilities through setting priorities, assigning people, meeting schedule requirements, maintenance planning, and scheduling machine/mold capacity
  • Direct, instruct, train, monitor, evaluate, and correct employee performance and behavior
  • Implement methods to reduce premium time waste
  • Assure compliance with departmental and corporate policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
  • Ensure all daily process checks are completed accurately
  • Comply with environmental health and safety systems
  • Work well with others utilizing organizational skills
