Requirements

  • Licence or equivalent diploma in electronics, industrial maintenance, or instrumentation (or equivalent knowledge/experience)
  • Conversational English (mandatory)
  • Knowledge of computer networks
  • Technical analysis skills
  • Successful experience in customer service
  • In-depth knowledge of one or more imaging modalities (advantage)
  • Driver's license B (Permis B)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instructions
  • Initiative and motivation

  • Excellent customer skills; ability to manage differences of opinion with tact and efficiency, and influence rather than order
  • Ideally resident in the Paris region with significant experience in the relevant fields

Responsibilities

  • Maintain all types of imaging equipment from the GE Healthcare range in the assigned area (priority: 75, 77, 93, 94, plus all of Île-de-France + Oise), starting with Scanner modality
  • Diagnose complex system failures electronically/mechanically and perform preventive tasks
  • Ensure permanent relationship with doctors and technicians on equipment issues to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Report field information, identifying and communicating sales opportunities to the sales team
  • Participate in the growth and orientation of activity in the geographic sector
  • Control warranty and contract costs for productivity
  • Perform all administrative tasks on an ongoing basis
  • Conduct installations of complex and multifunctional rooms
  • Share best practices
  • Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001, following GE's Quality Policy in Service
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships
