The role is responsible for modernizing, securing, and scaling our data platforms to support evolving business and application needs. The Database Engineer is focused on building resilient, automated systems while enabling cross-functional teams to implement scalable and secure data solutions across cloud and on-premise environments. Lead initiatives to modernize legacy database environments, implement automation, and design fault-tolerant systems in hybrid cloud infrastructures. The role requires working closely with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to build and maintain database environments that are performant, secure, and cost-effective. A key focus of this role will be driving a self-service model, empowering developers and engineers with tools and frameworks to independently interact with backend database systems across on-prem, cloud, and SaaS environments.
Expected salary range is $150,000.00 to $190,000/year.
