Requirements

3–8 years of experience in technical writing or related roles
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, technical writing, mass communications, or a related field
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on technical clarity
Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Strong organizational and time management abilities
Adaptability and eagerness to learn
Collaborative mindset with openness to feedback and mentorship
Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Sprint, and DevOps environments (preferred)
Experience with structured authoring and DITA principles (preferred)
Proficient in authoring tools such as oXygen XML, MadCap Flare, FrameMaker, and ArborText (preferred)
Knowledge of markup languages (Markdown, AsciiDoc), CMS platforms (Confluence, Notion), and version control systems (Git, GitHub) (preferred)
Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and scripting (Python, JavaScript) (preferred)
Awareness of UX writing, accessibility, and content design (preferred)
Experience with diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Draw.io) (preferred)
Interest in emerging technologies like AI, ML, IoT, Cloud, and RAN (preferred)
Working knowledge of AI tools and LLM (preferred)
Exposure to telecommunications or software development (a plus)

Responsibilities

Create and support user manuals, API documentation, installation/configuration guides, FAQs, and online help systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather technical insights and understand product workflows
Edit and refine existing documentation for clarity, consistency, and technical accuracy
Use DITA, single sourcing, and content reusability principles
Follow documentation standards and style guides such as the MS Style Guide
Participate in peer reviews and incorporate stakeholder feedback
Gain exposure to bug tracking and task management tools (such as JIRA, Bugzilla)
Contribute to process improvements and content strategy initiatives
