Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, automation, or industrial engineering with at least 2 years focused on Industry 4.0 technologies. Proficiency in IoT platforms such as MQTT and OPC UA, along with experience with automation tools like PLC programming and HMI systems, is required. Familiarity with data analytics tools like Python and SQL, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Snowflake, is also necessary.
Responsibilities
The Industry 4.0 Engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing Industry 4.0 solutions, including IoT devices, automation systems, and digital twins, to optimize manufacturing processes. They will develop and deploy data analytics platforms for performance monitoring and decision-making, analyze existing processes for improvement using Industry 4.0 technologies, and collaborate with various teams to align initiatives with business goals. Furthermore, the role involves providing training on new systems, staying updated on emerging trends, and understanding cybersecurity principles for industrial systems.
