Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Electronic Assembly and Final Assembly from Industrial Automation Industry
  • Adjustable Frequency Drive product knowledge and experience is preferred
  • Experience leading multiple teams and partnering with peers to resolve conflicts, especially to obtain resources

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Industrialization engineers, align resources to meet project goals, optimizing efficiency and productivity
  • Be the primary contact for all project-related communications, facilitating smooth information flow and issue resolution
  • Manage project related activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications and timelines, track product manufacturing costs throughout the NPI project
  • Be an Industrialization Subject Matter Expert in all phases of NPI, work on issues of diverse scope where requires evaluation of identifiable factors and exercise in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
  • Develop and implement process improvements through automation, digitalization and technological upgrades; initiate manufacturing technology innovations and oversee the implementation
  • Lead design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) analyses and Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
  • Promote and implement manufacturing layout and processes, estimates manufacturing cost, and coordinate execution of prototype and pilot activities
  • Ensure all project deliverables are met, from site preparation to equipment installation and operational readiness
  • Manage, coach, and hold self and team accountable for achieving goals and meeting commitments
  • Ensure Industrialization development activities comply with corporate and business level processes
  • Drive problem resolution, help clear ambiguities and remove impediments
  • Encourage cross-functional collaboration to achieve a common goal
  • Continuously monitor project status, escalate issues & risks whenever necessary
  • Resolve competency related gaps, if any
  • Establish and monitor the Industrialization Engineers' Project performance periodically
  • Identify and adopt best practices and lessons learnt from internal and external organizations
  • Champion new ideas and initiatives; embrace the team for challenge and strive for success
  • Encourage a positive work environment to foster outstanding performance
  • Have and share a vision of success and work with individuals to identify development needs in support of their career progression
