Requirements

Minimum of 10+ years of experience with 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role exhibiting progressive leadership
Mining and/or oilfield experience is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Electrical experience a must
Preferred experience with slurry equipment, conveyors, drying and screening
Regularly required to sit or stand, reach and move about the site/facility
Frequently lift 65 lbs. or more
Frequently climbs ladders and stairs

Responsibilities

Train and supervise employees in the maintenance department
Interview for maintenance positions
Ensure operational efficiency of the mechanical and electrical systems through timely inspections and repairs
Ensure compliance with MSHA/OSHA and Company safety regulations and standards
Review, approve and prioritize work requests for mechanical/electrical repairs and all safety and work permits
Troubleshoot and repair any piece of machinery to ensure it works properly and is safe for employees to use
Planning, scheduling and execution of maintenance projects and programs
Successfully leads a technical team – mentoring, coaching and leading
Participates in performance discussions and corrective action
Lead, train and mentor the maintenance team ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times
Responsible for the plant’s maintenance planning and reliability
