Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in global strategic sourcing/procurement, project management, operations or similar
  • Engineering degree (engineering preferred)
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, should costing, materials, maintenance, facilities, operations
  • Sound negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently to deliver results and influence stakeholders internally and externally
  • Excellent communication skills with English language proficiency
  • Experience working with global & diverse teams
  • Adept in contract & project management
  • Good analytical skills

Responsibilities

  • Support and execute category strategies within the region for SEF and T&O plants, offices and Distribution Centers ensuring alignment with global objectives
  • Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers in line with category strategies; represent global affiliates in supplier negotiations and relationships
  • Implement best-in-class procurement processes and supplier development programs to drive high performance and continuous improvement
  • Resolve chronic performance issues with suppliers
  • Drive and implement sourcing and continuous improvement strategies by working closely with Engineering, Facilities, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, Logistics, IT, and other functions
  • Support the LCM in project management and execution of category and regional strategies
  • Plan and implement procurement projects, including large-scale initiatives
  • Implement productivity projects based on global sourcing strategy execution and ideas generated by plants and users
  • Track performance to achieve/exceed the annual goal
