Ability to grasp, reach, push, or pull (such as boxes of product or a hand truck) on a frequent basis
Endurance for continuous, fast-paced work
Ability to work in fluctuating temperatures ranging from 30°F in the cooler to -20°F in the freezer
Ability to wear appropriate PPE (e.g., steel-toed protective footwear, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, insulated clothing)
Ability to handle products that may contain food allergens (e.g., fish, shellfish, peanuts)
Ability to utilize equipment safely and accurately after training (e.g., computer, handheld tracker, copiers, scanners, printers, radio headsets, pallet jack, forklifts, reach trucks)
Responsibilities
Properly, efficiently, and accurately pick product to neatly and accurately build pallets
Operate powered equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks
Build pallets up to 6 feet tall with case weights up to 50 pounds
Lift and handle products weighing 50-100 lbs
Work in a temp-controlled perishable distribution center (30°F cooler to -20°F freezer)
Perform continuous, fast-paced work in a refrigerated warehouse environment
