Requirements

  • High / Secondary school diploma or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification (technical positions may require a certificate)
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 1 year) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience
  • Knowledge of both local and global regulations covering all kinds of Import and Export activities
  • Specific Clinical Supply training and courses are essential
  • Familiar with clinical supply terminology, practices and principles
  • Good level of English (verbal and written)
  • Computer skills: working knowledge of Microsoft Project, Excel, and Microsoft Word

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that import & export activities are done according to PPD requirements, Client requirements and applicable regulations
  • Ensure an Import & Export plan is in place for each project
  • Review, collect, and/or prepare documents for import license submissions
  • Coordinate Import & Export transactions through delivery to depots
  • Maintain metrics and updated PPD Owned Metrics Indicators Reports
  • Actively problem solve and suggest solutions to import/export challenges
  • Perform any other logistic & administrative activities according to needs and growth of the Department
  • Meet with the Import/Export Manager to discuss import & export issues, provide appropriate recommendations and alerts
  • Ongoing training on new Regulations concerning both Import/Exports and GMP activities
  • Maintain tracker of local regulatory changes concerning Import & Export activities
  • Daily interaction with Vendors: Custom Brokers, Forwarders, Couriers and Depots
  • Maintenance of Import & Export Files according to PPD requirements, Client requirements and applicable Regulations
