Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Business experience in a healthcare and/or insurance setting preferred
  • Experience working with technology-based processes within a business environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with a clear understanding of company business lines
  • Ability to apply critical thinking, manage time efficiently, and meet specific deadlines
  • Computer literacy and typing skills essential
  • Supply and support own internet services with uninterrupted connection for remote work
  • Ability to handle long periods of sitting and computer work; any lifting, bending, traveling required for job duties

Responsibilities

  • Review reports accompanying medical records to ensure completeness and that all client questions are addressed
  • Follow up with reviewers for any additional questions or clarifications needed
  • Follow up with clients for any additional questions
  • Update clients frequently on referral progress
  • Ensure reports are grammatically correct with no spelling errors
  • Ensure each referral adheres to the QA checklist prior to completion
  • Format reports for approval
  • Communicate clearly and concisely between customers, reviewers, and Operations team
  • Confidently speak with physicians and clients regarding the content of their peer reviews
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned based on business needs
