Candidates should possess 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of corporate communications with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must also have strong project management skills, a track record of leading large, cross-functional projects, expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement strategies, and experience in brand development, positioning, and identity management. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will be able to craft compelling storytelling across multiple platforms and have established relationships with members of the press.
This Impact Communications Strategist will be responsible for creating and executing strategic, goal-based, data-centric communications and marketing plans for campaigns and communities, leading project management for StratComms Studio outputs, and supervising rapid-response marketing and communications initiatives as needed. They will collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute campaigns, events, and engagement opportunities, develop and implement issue-specific communications strategies aligned with Mozilla’s goals, and contribute to digital strategy efforts to optimize online presence. Additionally, the role involves measuring and analyzing the efficiency of communications initiatives, refining strategies as needed, and ensuring integration of Mozilla’s style guide and core messages across all communications channels and audiences.
