Candidates should possess 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of corporate communications and excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must have strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading large, cross-functional projects, expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement strategies, and experience in brand development, positioning, and identity management. Furthermore, candidates should be able to craft compelling storytelling across multiple platforms and have established relationships with members of the press.
This Impact Communications Strategist will be responsible for creating and executing strategic, goal-based, data-centric communications and marketing plans for campaigns and communities, leading project management for StratComms Studio outputs, supervising rapid-response marketing and communications initiatives as needed, collaborating with internal teams to plan and execute campaigns, events, and engagement opportunities, developing and implementing issue-specific communications strategies aligned with Mozilla’s goals, and collaborating with core Marcomms colleagues on digital strategy efforts. They will also measure and analyze the efficiency of communications initiatives, refining strategies as needed, ensuring integration of Mozilla’s style guide and core messages across all communications channels, and developing audience-specific communications and marketing strategies that advance Mozilla’s key focus areas.
