Candidates should possess 10 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, demonstrating a strong understanding of corporate communications with excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must also have strong project management skills, a track record of leading large, cross-functional projects, expertise in digital marketing, content creation, and audience engagement strategies, and proven experience in brand development, positioning, and identity management. Furthermore, candidates should be able to craft compelling storytelling across multiple platforms and have established relationships with members of the press.
This Impact Communications Strategist will be responsible for crafting an impactful presence for Mozilla Foundation and our values, expanding outreach to target audiences using various mechanisms like social listening and partnerships. They will create and execute strategic, goal-based communications plans, supervise rapid-response marketing initiatives, collaborate with internal teams on campaigns and events, develop issue-specific communications strategies aligned with Mozilla’s goals, measure and analyze the efficiency of communications initiatives, and develop audience-specific communications strategies advancing Mozilla’s key focus areas. They will also ensure integration of the style guide and core messages across all communications channels and audiences, and maintain relationships with the press.
