Requirements

  • Advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues and regarded as a subject matter expert
  • Solid understanding of the cloud experience and differentiators with a hybrid approach value proposition
  • Knowledge of how customers acquire or consume IT services
  • Knowledge of market trends and marketing campaigns to align initiatives with account planning activities
  • Ability to develop consultative customer proposals, tailoring strategy and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Understanding of customer’s business challenges/objectives to provide value-added services and solutions
  • Challenger mindset to position Hybrid Cloud Solutions and HPE GreenLake alternatives to traditional purchasing models and public cloud providers (Hyperscalers)
  • Ability to include Managed Services in deals when required

Responsibilities

  • Creating and driving their sales pipeline
  • Capturing leads outside of specialization and using closed-loop lead management to ensure assignment and follow-up by others
  • Maintaining knowledge of competitors in account to strategically position the company's products and services better
  • Using specialty expertise to seek out new opportunities and expand and enhance existing opportunities to build the pipeline
