Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labor Relations, Business Administration or related field. MBA or SHRM certified professional preferred
Minimum of ten years of progressive HR experience in a generalist role with exposure to compensation, performance management, training, and labor relations
Minimum of three years’ experience in managing teams
Previous experience in regional or multi-site HR leadership role preferred
Willing to travel up to 25% as needed

Responsibilities
Provide operational and tactical human resources support to manufacturing and distribution locations in the eastern region of the US
Provide direction to a human resources staff and ensure all HR actions and activities support business goals and objectives
Participate in corporate Human Resources activities/initiatives
Direct the application of all HR policies for assigned client groups personally or through subordinate representatives
Manage employee relations activities to ensure fair and consistent treatment through adherence to programs and policies
Coach human resources and administrative staff on proper employee relations practices
Maintain positive employee relations through employee activities, recognition programs, and communication forums
Coach and counsel local management in leveraging employee performance by directing the application and maintenance of the company’s performance management system
Manage a competitive hourly pay system by conducting area wage surveys, analyzing turnover data, and developing wage strategies for attraction and retention
Support corporate efforts to develop/maintain competitive salaried employee structures
Coordinate with COEs to ensure effective, coordinated delivery of HR services in Total Rewards, Talent Management, and HR Operations
Track and analyze regional HR metrics; develop and execute action plans to address areas of concern
Conduct audits of HR practices at all locations and work with local representatives to develop and execute action plans
