The HRIS Administrator must be comfortable working and communicating remotely. Experience with People Technology Systems (HRIS) is required, including administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Proficiency in generating, analyzing, and distributing reports and metrics is necessary. Experience partnering with Payroll and IT teams for data transfers and system integrations is needed. Familiarity with data privacy, security protocols, and People regulations is essential. Experience with SOC 1 / SOC 2 audits and HITRUST certification requirements is required. Knowledge of data privacy, access management, encryption, and retention policies within HRIS is necessary. Experience managing custom functions like queries, filters, macros, and reports is needed. Experience serving as a liaison between HRIS, vendors, and stakeholders for implementation projects is required.
The HRIS Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, system functionality, and security. This role serves as the primary point of contact for HR system support, reporting, and data integrity. Responsibilities include maintaining team member records, organizational structures, workflows, and system configurations. The administrator will generate and distribute standard and ad-hoc HR reports, dashboards, and metrics. They will partner with Payroll to ensure accurate data transfers and assist in the implementation, testing, and roll-out of new HR system modules. Maintaining system documentation, process guides, and training materials, and conducting end-user training sessions are also key duties. The role involves monitoring and ensuring compliance with data privacy, security protocols, and HR regulations, and identifying opportunities for process automation and system improvements. Additionally, the HRIS Administrator will manage permissions, access, personalization, and other system operations, manage custom functions and documentation, and assist with complex data report acquisition. They will serve as the lead representative and liaison between the People Team, external vendors, and other stakeholders for HRIS and people technology data and implementation projects. This includes acting as the HRIS point of contact during SOC audits, collecting HRIS evidence for audits, and maintaining HRIS controls required under HITRUST certification. The administrator will generate and submit periodic reports to demonstrate compliance with regulatory frameworks and ensure HRIS processes align with internal policies.
