Requirements

  • Ability to represent and relationship manage up in a complex stakeholder environment

  • Ability to assimilate and correlate disconnected documentation and drawings, and articulate their collective relevance to the organization and to high-priority business issues
  • Experience using model-based representations that can be adjusted as required to collect, aggregate or disaggregate complex and conflicting information about the business
  • Ability to visualize and create high-level models that can be used in future analysis to extend and mature the business architecture
  • Experience deploying both business and IT initiatives
  • Experience modeling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques like Azure, ADO, Excel, MS Access, Active Directory
  • Communication skills and the ability to communicate appropriately at all levels of the organization; this includes written and verbal communications as well as visualizations
  • Ability to act as liaison conveying information needs of the business to IT and data constraints to the business, business processes and workflow automation, business initiatives and IT initiatives, and benefit realization and service delivery
  • Team player able to work effectively with all levels of an organization with the ability to execute simple and moderate changes
  • Situational analysis and decision-making abilities

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and make updates to HR data
  • Review updates made by analysts and users
  • Understand the data model and the operational use of data
  • Document where data exists and how it travels throughout the organization and its systems
  • Maintain data inventory and data flow diagrams to provide the information and tools necessary to properly make decisions about data policies, standards and implementation
  • Understand who uses the systems and for what purpose
  • Know end-to-end data architecture and process flows to help resolutions, like stakeholders and relevance of systems
  • Identify any gaps in accountability and ownership
  • Educate the business about the data landscape and how it moves across the organization
  • Support policies and principles designed and enforced to ensure that best practices are followed for any new technology implementation
  • Translate those policies into business requirements and help enforce them from a business perspective
  • Educate the business side on the importance of data architecture and the impact when its guidelines aren’t followed
  • Execute critical updates to HR data
  • Execute strategic goals and objectives with decisions regarding products and services; partners and suppliers; organization; capabilities; and key business and IT initiatives
  • Maintain smooth operations for the business cycle involving HR Data using a repeatable approach, cohesive framework, and available industry standard techniques
  • Work closely with IT to align technical solutions with business needs
  • Work with others at every level of the organization executing strategic imperatives from senior leaders, executives and supporting business unit managers as they leverage HR Data artifacts to create their business plans
  • Provide direct input into the governance cycle that supports the achievement of key goals, planning and execution of various business scenarios, and delivery of bottom line business value
