Responsibilities

  • Recruitment: Assist in sourcing candidates, conducting pre-employment background checks, scheduling interviews, conducting basic phone screens, attending job fairs, and onboarding new employees
  • Training and Development: Assist in administering employee training and development programs, scheduling and coordinating training sessions, maintaining training records, and supporting the annual training plan and development programs
  • Payroll: Assist the HR team in communicating payroll instructions according to the payroll calendar
  • Employee Engagement: Participate in the organization and coordination of wellness initiatives, employee engagement activities, and initiatives aligned with the HR People strategy
  • Employee Relations: Provide support to employees and managers with HR-related questions and requests, research and respond to concerns, complete new hire documents (including follow-up on missing documents), address employee questions, collaborate on solutions, assist with employee feedback surveys, and coordinate with administration and labor relations departments
  • HR Processes: Provide administrative support to the HR department to ensure deadlines are met, including the three annual processes: performance evaluation, talent review, and salary review
  • Immigration: Coordinate between the immigration department and employees to gather required documents for work permit applications
  • Workday: Process all tasks to keep the HR ERP system updated
